Ya (diario)

The daily Ya is a Spanish newspaper of daily publication with soothes in Madrid. It was founded by Editorial Catholic during the Second Republic. The first issue went to the street on January 14, 1935. Conservatively oriented, it was one of the most popular and influential newspapers in Spain during the Franco regime. In 1975, the year Franco died, it was the best selling newspaper in Madrid, with 177,000 copies a day. Nevertheless, the new times that arrived with the democracy supposed a gradual loss of readers and of publicity for the newspaper, that entered in a long crisis. It underwent changes in ownership, in the direction and in the editorial line, but it did not manage to overcome the number of readers. On June 14, 1996, he published his last copy, after having passed through the hands of Antena 3 TV, the Mexican publisher Ediciones del Sur and Diario de Ávila. Today there is his heir in digital format, http: //www.diarioya.es / .... El diario Ya es un periódico español de publicación diaria con sede en Madrid. Fue fundado por Editorial Católica durante la Segunda República. El primer ejemplar salió a la calle el 14 de enero de 1935. De orientación conservadora, fue uno de los periódicos más populares e influyentes de España durante el franquismo. En 1975, año de la muerte de Franco, era el periódico más vendido en Madrid, con 177.000 ejemplares diarios. Sin embargo, los nuevos tiempos que llegaron con la democracia supusieron una paulatina pérdida de lectores y de publicidad para el diario, que entró en una larga crisis. Sufrió cambios en la propiedad, en la dirección y en la línea editorial, pero no consiguió remontar el número de lectores.
