Galinsoga

Galinsoga is a botanical genus belonging to the family Asteraceae. They are annual herbs of opposite leaves and flowers arranged in summits. The most important species is the Galinsoga parviflora, with slightly fluffy leaves, white and yellow flowers. Its origin is Peru, but was introduced in Europe in the nineteenth century and from there to the world.Serve as fodder for cattle.In some places it has become plague. Galinsoga é um género botânico pertencente à família Asteraceae.São ervas anuais de folhas opostas e flores dispostas em cimeiras.A espécie mais importante é a Galinsoga parviflora,de folhas levemente felpudas,flores brancas e amarelas.Sua origem é o Peru,mas foi introduzida na Europa no século XIX e de lá para o mundo.Serve como forragem para o gado.Em alguns lugares tornou-se praga.
