Mind
Mind is the state of consciousness or subconsciousness that enables the expression of human nature. 'Mind' is a concept widely used to describe the higher functions of the human brain related to cognition and behavior. Particularly those functions which make human beings conscious, such as interpretation, desires, temperament, imagination, language, senses, although they are bound to the most unconscious qualities like thought, reason, memory, intuition , intelligence, archetype, dream, feeling, ego and superego. Therefore, the term also describes the personality and usually designates human capacities, or even, used to denominate capacities of supernatural beings, as in the expression "The mind of God". Etymologically, the term comes from the Latin mèntem, which has the meaning of thinking, knowing, understanding, and also means to measure, since someone who thinks does not make another to measure, ponder the ideas. The Greeks used the term nous to indicate mind, reason, thought, intuition.
