Birch
Birch is a genus of deciduous trees and bushes of the Beryozov family. Birch is widely distributed in the Northern Hemisphere; on the territory of Russia belongs to the number of the most widespread tree species. The total number of species is about one hundred or a little more. Many parts of the birch are used in the farm: wood, bark, birch, birch sap. Kidneys and leaves are used in medicine. Some species are used to create shelter belts, as well as in ornamental horticulture. Birch occupies an important place in the culture of the Slavs, Scandinavians, Finno-Ugric and other peoples.
