Ulam
Ulam se puede definir como parte de la planta que consiste en brotes, hojas, tallos, umbuts, semillas, frutas, tubérculos y flores que se comen crudas, teñidas, destiladas o hervidas antes de las comidas. A menudo, para agregar sabor a las comidas comestibles, se alcanza con sambal belacan, budu, cencaluk, mayonesa u otras fracciones. Usualmente se incluye con arroz y otras guarniciones.
