La concurrence en biologie, en écologie et en sociologie est un concours entre organismes, animaux, individus, groupes, etc., pour le territoire, un créneau ou un lieu de ressources, pour les ressources et les biens, les camarades, le prestige, la reconnaissance, les récompenses, Ou groupe ou statut social, pour le leadership.
