Constriction
La constriction est une méthode utilisée par diverses espèces de serpents pour tuer leurs proies. Bien que certaines espèces de serpents venimeux et légèrement venimeux utilisent la constriction pour subjuguer leurs proies, la plupart des serpents qui utilisent la constriction manquent de venin. Le serpent frappe initialement sa proie et s'accroche, attire la proie dans ses bobines ou, dans le cas d'une très grande proie, se tire sur la proie.
