Malacostraca
Les Malacostraca, les malacostracans, sont la plus grande des six classes de crustacés, contenant environ 40 000 espèces existantes, réparties entre 16 ordres. Ses membres affichent une grande diversité de formes corporelles et comprennent les crabes, les homards, les écrevisses, les crevettes, le krill, les bois, les fougères, les crevettes mantis et beaucoup d'autres animaux moins familiers.
