Opah
Les Opahs sont des poissons lampriformes pélagiques de grande taille, colorés et corsés comprenant la petite famille Lampridae. Seules deux espèces vivantes se retrouvent dans un seul genre: Lampris. Une espèce se trouve dans les eaux tropicales à tempérées de la plupart des océans, tandis que l'autre est limitée à une distribution circonférente dans l'océan Austral, avec le 34 ° S comme limite nord. Deux espèces supplémentaires, une dans le genre Lampris et l'autre dans les mégalampris monotypiques, Gottfried, Fordyce \u0026 amp; Rust, 2006 ne sont connus que de fossiles.
