Prolog

Langage de programmation logique. Le langage informatique de cinquième génération utilisé dans les applications d'intelligence artificielle. Il a été inventé par Alain Colmerauer et son groupe de travail à l'Université de Marseille Aix en France au début des années 1970. Il vient du français "Programmation en Logique". Les études menées pour s'assurer que la logique peut être utilisée directement comme langage informatique ont également pris de l'ampleur au début des années 1980. En 1981, l'intérêt des Japonais pour le sujet a été considérablement accru avec l'annonce du projet informatique de cinquième génération. Prolog a publié un certain nombre de livres sur différents objectifs et niveaux et établi une norme linguistique. Pour qu'un ordinateur puisse résoudre un problème spécifique, il est nécessaire de fournir des informations sur le problème et la solution. Il peut communiquer avec les ordinateurs humains à travers les langages de programmation. Prolog est un outil pour aider l'être humain dans les étapes de développement des méthodes nécessaires pour identifier et résoudre le problème avec une structure de pensée logique et symbolique.

Fransızca "Programmation en Logique" kelimesinden gelmektir. Mantığın doğrudan doğruya bir bilgisayar dili olarak kullanılabilmesini sağlamak amacıyla yapılan çalışmalar da 1980 yıllarının başlarında da yoğunluk kazanmıştır. 1981 yılında Japonlar beşinci nesil bilgisayar projesini açıklamalarıyla da konuya olan ilgi büyük bir ölçüde artmıştır. Prolog üzerine çeşitli amaç ve seviyelerde birçok kitap yayınlanmış ve dilin bir standardı oluşmuştur. Bilgisayarın belirli bir problemi çözebilmesi için kendisine problemle ve çözüm yoluyla ilgili bilgi verilmesi gereklidir. Programlama dilleri aracılığıyla insan bilgisayarlarla iletişim kurabilir. Prolog mantıksal ve sembolik düşünmeye uygun yapısıyla, problemin tanımlanması ve çözümü için gerekli yöntemlerin geliştirilmesi aşamalarında insanoğluna yardımcı olan bir araçtır.
