Deportation

A deportação é a expulsão de uma pessoa ou grupo de pessoas de um lugar ou país. Hoje, a expulsão de estrangeiros geralmente é chamada de deportação, enquanto a expulsão de cidadãos é chamada de desterro, exílio ou transporte penal. A deportação é uma prática antiga: Khosrau I, Sassanid Rei da Pérsia, deportou 292 mil cidadãos, escravos e pessoas conquistadas para a nova cidade de Ctesiphon em 542 C.E. Deportation is the expulsion of a person or group of people from a place or country. Today the expulsion of foreign nationals is usually called deportation, whereas the expulsion of nationals is called banishment, exile, or penal transportation. Deportation is an ancient practice: Khosrau I, Sassanid King of Persia, deported 292,000 citizens, slaves, and conquered people to the new city of Ctesiphon in 542 C.E.
