Noz - Mitologia egípcia deusa do céu pertencente à Grande Enneady. Nut era uma criança de Shu, deus do ar, e Tefnut humidificando. Marido e irmão Nut Egípcios reconheceram Geba, representando a Terra. Essa personificação distingue a mitologia egípcia de muitos outros, onde o céu estava associado com o elemento masculino e a terra com a fêmea, como Urano e Gai nos gregos. Nut e Geb tiveram cinco filhos, simbolizando os cinco dias da semana egípcia: ▪ Osiris, ▪ Old Horus, ▪ Set, ▪ Isis, ▪ Nephtyda. Horus também foi considerado o filho de Osiris e Isidore, então Nut e Geb às vezes foram atribuídos a apenas quatro filhos. A Deusa Nut recebeu de seu pai uma proibição de se juntar a Gebem com seu irmão, todos os dias do ano egípcio, mas Thot, depois de ter derrotado em batalhas subsequentes, criou cinco dias adicionais durante os quais a deusa concebeu seus filhos. Nut i Geb mieli pięcioro dzieci, symbolizujących pięć dni egipskiego tygodnia: ▪ Ozyrysa, ▪ Horusa Starego, ▪ Seta, ▪ Izydę, ▪ Neftydę. Horusa uważano jednak również za syna Ozyrysa i Izydy, więc niekiedy Nut i Gebowi przypisywano tylko czwórkę dzieci. Bogini Nut otrzymała od swojego ojca zakaz łączenia się ze swoim bratem, Gebem, we wszystkie dni roku egipskiego, jednak Thot, pokonując w kolejnych walkach Księżyc, stworzył pięć dodatkowych dni, w trakcie których bogini poczęła swoje dzieci. Zgodnie z mitem Nut i Geb przez całą wieczność leżeli złączeni w miłosnym zespoleniu, ale zostali rozdzieleni przez Szu, czyli powietrze. Według egipskiej kosmologii świat znajduje się pomiędzy ich ciałami.
