Cordon
Un cordon este o linie de oameni, posturi militare sau nave care înconjoară o zonă care o închide sau o păzește. Cordon se poate referi și la: ▪ Cordon și căutarea, o operațiune militară ▪ Cordon Industrial este un organ al puterii populare, al democrației directe sau al lucrătorilor. Multe dintre aceste organe ale puterii populare au fost formate în Chile în timpul guvernului Unității Populare între anii 1970-1973. ▪ Un cordon, termenul descriptiv pentru un anumit stil de tăiere a plantelor lemnoase. Plantele unice pot fi tăiate pentru a avea cordoane unice sau multiple într-un număr de stiluri.
