Convenția (normă)
O convenție este un set de standarde, norme, norme sociale sau criterii convenite, stipulate sau acceptate, adesea sub forma unui obicei. Anumite tipuri de reguli sau obiceiuri pot deveni lege, iar legislația de reglementare poate fi introdusă pentru a formaliza sau a pune în aplicare convenția.
