Delapidarea este un termen care însemnă într-un eveniment distructiv o clădire, dar mai ales folosit în pluralul din legislația engleză pentru: ▪ deșeurile comise de către un responsabil al unei vieți ecleziastice ▪ dezavantajul pentru care un chiriaș are de obicei răspunderea când a acceptat renunta la sediul sau in bune conditii. Dărăpănarea este derivată din latină pentru împrăștierea pietrelor unei clădiri.
