Dogmă
Dogma este un principiu sau set de principii stabilite de o autoritate ca fiind incontestabil adevărat. Ea servește ca parte a bazei primare a unui sistem de ideologie sau credință și nu poate fi schimbată sau aruncată fără a afecta paradigma sistemului sau ideologia însăși. Termenul se referă la opiniile acceptabile ale filosofilor sau ale școlilor filosofice, ale decretelor publice, ale religiei sau ale deciziilor emise de autoritățile politice. Termenul derivă din dogma greacă "ceea ce pare a fi unul, opinie sau credință" și din "κουκέω", "a gândi, a presupune, a imagina". Dogma a venit să semneze legi sau ordonanțe adjudecate și impuse altora de către primul secol. Pluralul este fie dogme, fie dogmate, din dogmele grecești. Termenul "dogmatică" este folosit ca sinonim pentru teologia sistematică, ca în manualul definitoriu al neo-ortodoxiei al lui Karl Barth, dogmatica Bisericii cu 14 volume.
