Forceps
Forcepsul sau forțeta sunt un instrument portabil și articulat folosit pentru a prinde și a ține obiecte. Forcepsurile sunt folosite când degetele sunt prea mari pentru a prinde obiecte mici sau când multe obiecte trebuie să fie ținute simultan în timp ce mâinile sunt folosite pentru a efectua o sarcină. Termenul "forceps" este utilizat aproape exclusiv în domeniul medical. În afara medicinii, oamenii se referă, de obicei, la pensete, cum ar fi pensete, clește, clești, cleme sau cleme. "Forceps" poate fi folosit atât ca formă singulară cât și plurală a cuvântului. De asemenea, nu este denumită "pereche", deoarece se referă la o "pereche de foarfece".
