Câştig
În electronică, câștigul este o măsură a capacității unui circuit de a crește puterea sau amplitudinea unui semnal de la intrare la ieșire prin adăugarea energiei convertite de la o sursă de alimentare la semnal. Acesta este de obicei definit ca raportul mediu al ieșirii semnalului unui sistem la intrarea de semnal a aceluiași sistem. Este adesea exprimată folosind unitățile de decibeli logaritmice. Un câștig mai mare decât unul, adică amplificarea, este proprietatea definitorie a unei componente active sau a unui circuit, în timp ce un circuit pasiv va avea un câștig mai mic decât unul. Singurul câștig de termen este ambiguu și se poate referi la raportul de ieșire la tensiunea de intrare, curent sau energie electrică.
