Hypertext
Hypertextul este un text afișat pe un afișaj al calculatorului sau pe alte dispozitive electronice cu trimiteri la alte texte pe care cititorul le poate accesa imediat sau unde textul poate fi dezvăluit progresiv la mai multe nivele de detaliu. Paginile de hypertext sunt interconectate prin hiperlegături, de obicei activate de un click de mouse, succesiune de taste sau prin atingerea ecranului. În afară de text, hipertextul este folosit uneori pentru a descrie tabele, imagini și alte forme de conținut prezentare cu hyperlink-uri. Hypertext este conceptul fundamental care definește structura World Wide Web, cu pagini adesea scrise în limbajul de marcare hipertext. Acesta permite o conexiune ușor și ușor de utilizat și o comunicație flexibilă prin intermediul Internetului. Rețineți că hipertextul nu este doar text plat, cu sublinieri sau paragrafe omise în timpul afișării, ci textul este hiperstructurat cu hyperlink-uri sau alte structuri încorporate în interiorul unei pagini, inclusiv cuvinte de căutare ascunse, pentru a controla afișarea și conexiunea cu alte pagini sau noduri hipertext.

So, that notion of hypertext seemed to me immediately obvious because footnotes were already the ideas wriggling, struggling to get free, like a cat trying to get out of your arms.
The serendipitous nature of hypertext links is just brilliant for a curious mind. I love it.
