Filozofie
Filosofia este studiul problemelor generale și fundamentale, cum ar fi cele legate de realitate, existență, cunoaștere, valori, rațiune, minte și limbă. Filosofia se deosebește de alte modalități de abordare a unor astfel de probleme prin abordarea sa critică, în general sistematică, și dependența de argumentul rațional. În discursul mai casual, prin extensie, "filosofia" se poate referi la "cele mai elementare convingeri, concepte și atitudini ale unui individ sau grup". Cuvântul "filozofie" provine din filosofia greacă veche, care înseamnă literalmente "iubirea înțelepciunii". Introducerea termenilor "filosof" și "filosofie" a fost atribuită gânditorului grec Pitagoraș.
