Piercing-ul corporal, o formă de modificare a corpului, este practica puntirii sau tăierii unei părți a corpului uman, creând o deschidere în care bijuteriile pot fi purtate. Cuvântul piercing se poate referi la actul sau practica perforării corporale sau la o deschidere în corp creată prin acest act sau practică. Deși istoria piercingului corporal este ascunsă de dezinformarea populară și de o lipsă de referință științifică, există dovezi ample care arată că a fost practicată în diferite forme de ambele sexe din cele mai vechi timpuri în întreaga lume.
