Politică
Politica este practica și teoria influențării altor persoane la nivel civic sau individual. Mai strâns, se referă la realizarea și exercitarea pozițiilor de guvernare - controlul organizat asupra unei comunități umane, în special a unui stat. O varietate de metode sunt folosite în politică, care includ promovarea propriilor opinii politice în rândul oamenilor, negocierea cu alți subiecți politici, luarea de legi și exercitarea forței, inclusiv războiul împotriva adversarilor. Politica este exercitată pe o gamă largă de niveluri sociale, de la clanuri și triburi ale societăților tradiționale, prin administrații locale moderne, companii și instituții până la state suverane, la nivel internațional. Un sistem politic este un cadru care definește metode politice acceptabile într-o anumită societate. Istoria gîndirii politice poate fi trasată în antichitate timpurie, cu lucrări seminale precum Republica Platon, Politica lui Aristotel și lucrările lui Confucius.
