Raționalitatea este calitatea sau starea de a fi rezonabilă, bazată pe fapte sau motive. Rationalitatea implică conformitatea convingerilor cuiva cu motivele de a crede sau a acțiunilor cuiva cu motivele acțiunii. "Rationalitatea" are diferite înțelesuri specializate în economie, sociologie, psihologie, biologie evolutivă și științe politice. O decizie rațională este una care nu este doar motivată, ci este, de asemenea, optimă pentru atingerea unui scop sau rezolvarea unei probleme. Determinarea optimității pentru comportamentul rațional necesită o formulare cuantificabilă a problemei și realizarea mai multor ipoteze-cheie. Atunci când scopul sau problema implică luarea unei decizii, factorii de raționalitate în cât de multe informații sunt disponibile. În mod colectiv, formularea și ipotezele de bază sunt modelul în care se aplică raționalitatea. By the way, the point between rationality and what we would call the irrational is a very difficult point to establish. There's no specific line, as you know.
I think that we must find some way to get more common sense, more rationality, in our decisions and less emotion.
