În botanică, o spadixă este un tip de inflorescență spike având flori mici purtate pe o tulpină cărnoasă. Spadixul este tipic familiei Araceae, arums sau aroids. Spadixul este în mod obișnuit înconjurat de un braț curbat, asemănător unei frunze, cunoscut sub numele de spathe. De exemplu, "floarea" binecunoscutului Anthurium spp. este un spadix tipic cu o spate mare colorat. Aroidele monoeiste au flori masculine și feminine unisexuale pe același individ și spadixul este de obicei organizat cu flori de sex feminin spre partea de jos și flori masculine spre partea de sus. De obicei, stigmatul nu mai este receptiv când polenul este eliberat, ceea ce împiedică auto-fertilizarea.
