Ziua Recunostintei este o sarbatoare nationala sarbatorita in principal in Statele Unite si Canada, ca zi de multumire pentru binecuvantarea recoltei si a anului precedent. Mai multe alte locuri din lume observă festivități similare. Este sărbătorită în a patra joi din noiembrie în Statele Unite și în cea de-a doua zi de luni a lunii octombrie în Canada. Ziua Recunostintei are rădăcinile sale istorice în tradițiile religioase și culturale și a fost mult timp sărbătorită și în mod secular.
