Horizont
Der Horizont ist die scheinbare Linie, die die Erde vom Himmel trennt, die Linie, die alle sichtbaren Richtungen in zwei Kategorien teilt: diejenigen, die die Erdoberfläche schneiden, und diejenigen, die es nicht tun. An vielen Orten ist der wahre Horizont von Bäumen, Gebäuden, Bergen usw. verdeckt, und der daraus resultierende Schnitt von Erde und Himmel wird als sichtbarer Horizont bezeichnet.
