It was an incident in which the Hong Kong army escaped through the network of the Nationalist forces through 370 days and walked 9600 kilometers. It is also called the Daejseoncheon or the trek. 장정은 홍군이 국민당군의 포위망을 뚫고 370일을 거쳐, 9600km의 거리를 걸어서 탈출한 사건이다. 대서천 또는 대장정이라고도 한다. 군사적으로는 대실패의 패주였지만 중국 전역에 홍군의 이념을 널리 알리고 중요 핵심 지도자급 인물들이 생존했으며 홍군의 전략 전술 발전에 크게 기여한 사건이었기에 중국 공산당 발전의 중대한 계기요 승전의 의미로 받아들인다. 장정을 통해 홍군의 전략이 게릴라전으로 바뀌었고 마오쩌뚱이 핵심 지도자로 부상하였다.

The great antarctic trek was the historical representative of the Chinese Communist Army (Rongfu) of 15,000 kilometers (1934-1935). As a result, the Communist Party's revolutionary base was moved from southeastern China to the northwest and Mao Zedong became a solid leader . The Hong Kong army continued to fight with the Nationalists of Chiang Kai-Shek, who was chasing after, over 18 mountains and crossing 24 rivers, reaching the northwest city of Sanshi city. Many young people in China were invited to join the Communist Party in the late 1930s and early 1940s, stimulated by the heroic struggle of the banner.

대장정 대장정이란 1만 5,000킬로미터에 달하는 중국 공산군(홍군(紅軍))의 역사적 대행군(1934~1935)으로, 이 결과 공산당의 혁명 근거지가 중국 동남부에서 서북부로 옮겨졌으며 마오 쩌둥이 확고부동한 지도자로 부상하였다. 홍군은 추격해 오는 장제스의 국민당 군과 계속 싸우면서 18개의 산맥을 넘고 24개의 강을 건너 서북 지방의 싼시 성에 도달하였다. 중국의 많은 청년들은 장정이라는 영웅적인 투쟁에 자극을 받아 1930년대 말과 1940년대 초에 걸쳐 공산당에 가담하였다.
