Delirium

Majaczenie

Delirium - a syndrome of mental disorders accompanied by illusions, visual, auditory, tactile and other hallucinations, psychomotor disturbances and anxiety, and sleep disturbances, often accompanied by night and night. Nightmares can be set in extremely vivid visions reminiscent of a film that accompanies the delusions of "knitting." Autopsychic orientation is usually preserved, and allopsychic disorders are usually impaired. After the disappearance of the delusional state, the total or partial oblivion of the disease is usually reported. Spasmodic conditions are common in many somatic diseases: severe infections with high fever, poisonings, uremia, liver failure, trauma, dehydration. Delusional syndromes may also entrain alcohol withdrawal syndromes and withdrawal of benzodiazepines.
