WHAT DOES MISHIMA MEAN IN POLISH?

Mishima

Mishima - Built as a Russian coastal defense battleship. The sister units were "Admiral Uszakov" and "General Admiral Apraskin". During the Battle of Cushima under the Russo-Japanese War, captured on 28 May 1905 by the Japanese and incorporated into the Japanese Imperial Navy, where he was given the name "Mishima." During the Battle of Cushima, the Japanese also won the "Apraskina", changing its name to "Okinoshima". "Admiral Uszakov" also participated in this battle sank as a result of serious damage. The construction of "Admiral Sieniawin" was started in 1892 at the Admiralty's New Shipyard in St. Petersburg. It was named in honor of Admiral Dmitry Nikolaevich Sieniawina, commander of the Baltic fleet at the turn of the twenties and thirties of the nineteenth century. He entered the Imperial Navy in 1895. After being taken over by the Japanese, he was classified as a second-class coastal defense ship. The ship was named Shinto Temple in Shizuoka prefecture "Mishima". On April 1, 1921 "Mishima" was re-classified as a submarine base.
