Shamanism
Shamanism is a religious phenomenon inherent in the peoples of Siberia, Central Asia, North America, Indonesia and Oceania. Usually shamanism coexists with other forms of magic and religion. It differs by faith in the particularly powerful supernatural capabilities of the ancient professional clergy, the relationship with spirits, and the use of ecstatic techniques. Yakuti back in the XIX century. believed that only a shaman could cure a person. The procedure for his treatment consisted of spells, songs, dances, appeals to spirits. If after such a "treatment" man overcame the disease, glory was attributed to the shaman, and if he died, the evil spirit that stole the soul of the patient was declared guilty.
