Harassment

El acoso abarca una amplia gama de comportamientos de naturaleza ofensiva. Se entiende comúnmente como un comportamiento destinado a perturbar o alterar, y es característicamente repetitivo. En el sentido legal, es una conducta intencional que se considera amenazante o perturbadora. El acoso sexual se refiere a avances sexuales persistentes y no deseados, típicamente en el lugar de trabajo, donde las consecuencias de negarse son potencialmente muy desventajosas para la víctima. Harassment covers a wide range of behaviours of an offensive nature. It is commonly understood as behaviour intended to disturb or upset, and it is characteristically repetitive. In the legal sense, it is intentional behaviour which is found threatening or disturbing. Sexual harassment refers to persistent and unwanted sexual advances, typically in the workplace, where the consequences of refusing are potentially very disadvantageous to the victim.
