Disfonia es el término médico para los trastornos de la voz: un impedimento en la capacidad de producir sonidos de voz utilizando los órganos vocales. Por lo tanto, la disfonía es un trastorno de fonación. La voz dysphonic puede ser ronca o excesivamente breathy, áspera, o áspera, pero una cierta clase de phonation es todavía posible.
