Commonhold
Commonhold est un système de propriété en Angleterre et au Pays de Galles. Cela implique le maintien indéfini de la propriété d'une partie d'un immeuble à occupation multiple avec la propriété partagée et la responsabilité des aires communes et des services. Il comporte des caractéristiques du titre de strates et des systèmes de condominiums, qui existent respectivement en Australie et aux États-Unis. Il a été introduit par la Loi de 2002 sur la réforme foncière et la vente à bail en tant que solution de rechange au bail et était le premier nouveau type de succession juridique à être introduit en droit anglais depuis 1925. Au cours des années écoulées depuis l'entrée en vigueur de la loi de 2002, seule une poignée d'apports ont été enregistrés alors que des centaines de milliers de baux longs ont été accordés au cours de la même période. Au 3 juin 2009, il y avait 12 développements résidentiels d'entité comptant 97 unités en Angleterre et un développement résidentiel en commun, comprenant 30 unités, au Pays de Galles.
