Monocoque
Monocoque est une approche structurelle qui supporte des charges à travers la peau extérieure d'un objet, semblable à une coquille d'œuf. Le terme est également utilisé pour indiquer une structure dans laquelle la peau fournit le support structurel principal, bien que ce soit rare et soit habituellement confondu soit avec un demi-monocoque, soit avec un monodrome.
