Montagne
Une montagne est une grande forme de relief qui s'étend au-dessus de la terre environnante dans une zone limitée, habituellement sous la forme d'un pic. Une montagne est généralement plus abrupte qu'une colline. Les montagnes sont formées à travers des forces tectoniques ou du volcanisme. En raison du terrain et du climat moins hospitaliers, les montagnes ont tendance à être moins utilisées pour l'agriculture et plus pour l'extraction de ressources et les loisirs, comme l'escalade. La plus haute montagne de la terre est le mont Everest dans l'Himalaya de l'Asie, dont le sommet est de 8 849,868 m au-dessus du niveau moyen de la mer. La montagne la plus connue sur toute planète dans le système solaire est Olympus Mons sur Mars à 21 171 m.
