Réticence magnétique
La réticence magnétique, ou la résistance magnétique, est un concept utilisé dans l'analyse des circuits magnétiques. Il est analogue à la résistance dans un circuit électrique, mais plutôt que de dissiper l'énergie électrique, il stocke l'énergie magnétique. Par rapport à la façon dont un champ électrique entraîne un courant électrique à suivre le chemin de la moindre résistance, un champ magnétique fait que le flux magnétique suit le chemin de la faible réticence magnétique. Il s'agit d'une quantité scalaire, étendue, semblable à la résistance électrique. Les unités de réluctance magnétique sont Henry inverse, H-1.
