Down

Down est un supergroupe basé à la Nouvelle-Orléans qui interprète une variation de métal lourd appelée métal du sud qui contient également de la boue de métal dans sa musique. Il a été fondé en 1991. Ses membres sont Phil Anselmo, Pepper Keenan, Kirk Windstein, Rex Brown et Jimmy Bower. Todd Strange a participé à l'enregistrement de son premier album NOLA. Le groupe s'est produit trois fois en Pologne - le 29 mars 2008 à Varsovie Stodola, le 22 juin 2009 au Studio Club de Cracovie et le 20 juin 2013 au Metalfest Festival de Jaworzno. Depuis 2008, le groupe travaille sur du matériel pour le quatrième album, composé d'au moins deux EP. En 2009, le groupe quitte Rex Brown et remplace l'ancien bassiste Crowbar, Pat Bruders. En 2013, Kirk Windstein quitte le groupe et remplace Bobby Landgraf avec le guitariste de Honky.

Down - amerykańska supergrupa pochodząca z Nowego Orleanu wykonująca odmianę heavy metalu zwaną southern metalem, posiadająca w swej muzyce również elementy sludge metalu. Został założony w 1991 roku. Jego członkami są Phil Anselmo, Pepper Keenan, Kirk Windstein, Rex Brown i Jimmy Bower. Todd Strange brał udział w nagrywaniu debiutanckiego albumu NOLA. Zespół trzy razy wystąpił w Polsce - 29 marca 2008 roku w warszawskiej Stodole, 22 czerwca 2009 w krakowskim Klubie Studio oraz 20 czerwca 2013 roku na festiwalu Metalfest w Jaworznie. Od 2008 roku grupa pracuje nad materiałem na czwarty album, który ma składać się z co najmniej dwóch EP. W roku 2009 z zespołu odszedł Rex Brown i zastąpił były basista zespołu Crowbar, Pat Bruders. W roku 2013 zespół opuścił Kirk Windstein, a jego miejsce zastąpił Bobby Landgraf gitarzysta zespołu Honky.
