rom.),
prov. coucudo, dial. din Saintoge,
coucu, berri. cocue. Der. cucuțea (
var. cucuțel),
s. f. (plantă, Oenanthe Phellandrium), pe care Pascu, I, 71, îl derivă nefondat, din
lat. cucutia „nume al unui fruct necunoscut”. – Din
rom. provine
sb. kukùta, kùkuta (Candrea,
Elemente, 406; Berneker 641), pe care Cihac, III, 86, îl considera etimon al
