Discorso
Il discorso è la forma vocalizzata della comunicazione umana. Si basa sulla combinazione sintattica di lessici e nomi che sono tratti da vocabolari molto grandi. Ogni parola pronunciata viene creata dalla combinazione fonetica di un insieme limitato di voci vocali e suonerie vocali. Questi vocabolari, la sintassi che li struttura, e il loro insieme di unità sonori di discorso differiscono, creando l'esistenza di molte migliaia di diversi tipi di linguaggi umani reciprocamente inintelligibili. Il discorso oltre al suo uso nella comunicazione, è suggerito da alcuni psicologi come Vygotsky è utilizzato internamente dai processi mentali per migliorare e organizzare la cognizione sotto forma di un monologo interno.
