Autopsie
O autopsie - cunoscută și ca o examinare post-mortem, necropsie, autopsie cadaverum sau obducție - este o procedură chirurgicală foarte specializată care constă într-o examinare aprofundată a unui cadavru pentru a determina cauza și modul de deces și pentru a evalua orice boală sau leziune care pot fi prezente. Acesta este de obicei efectuat de un medic specialist specializat numit patolog. Autopsiile sunt efectuate fie în scopuri legale, fie în scopuri medicale.
