Dougii sau doug langurii formează genul Pygathrix, care constă din aceste trei specii: ▪ Doug, Pygathrix nemaeus, ▪ Pygathrix nemaeus, ▪ Pygathrix nigripes ▪ Pygathrix cinerea Aceste maimuțe colobine din Lumea Veche, originare din Asia de Sud-Est, au un aspect extrem de izbitoare. Lungimea roșie este caracteristică, având picioare maronii strălucitoare și pete roșiatice în jurul ochilor. Spre deosebire de acestea, douc-ul coapsei gri este mai puțin vibrant, cu picioare gri cenușii și marcaj portocaliu pe față. Ambele au cadavre gri, mâini și picioare negre și obraji albi, deși părul obrazului coajelor roșii este mult mai lung. Douc-ul cu coadă neagră are picioare negre. Lungimile și coada lor lungi posterioare permit ca aceste maimuțe să fie foarte agile în habitatul lor din lemn. Ei trăiesc în grupuri de familie mici conduse de un bărbat adult. Un singur grup poate avea mai multe femele adulte și mulți copii. Tinerii neafiliate cu un grup de familie își fac adesea propriile trupe. Femelele poartă, de obicei, un singur descendent la un moment dat, care este alăptat timp de aproximativ un an.
