Dysphonia este termenul medical pentru tulburările vocii: o afectare a capacității de a produce sunete vocale folosind organele vocale. Astfel, disfonia este o tulburare de phonation. Vocea disfonică poate fi răgușită sau excesiv de respirabilă, dură sau dură, dar un fel de phonation este încă posibil.
