O diagramă schematică sau schematică reprezintă o reprezentare a elementelor unui sistem folosind simboluri grafice, mai degrabă decât imagini realiste. O schemă omite, de obicei, toate detaliile care nu sunt relevante pentru informațiile pe care schematică este destinată să le transmită și pot adăuga elemente nerealiste care ajută înțelegerea.
