Swarm comportament
Comportamentul comportamentului roșu sau roșu este un comportament colectiv expus de animale de dimensiuni asemănătoare, care se agregă împreună, probabil măcinând în jurul aceluiași loc sau poate se deplasează în masă sau migrează într-o anumită direcție. Ca termen, swarming se aplică în special insectelor, dar poate fi aplicat și oricărui animal care prezintă comportament de roi. Termenul "flocking" este utilizat de obicei pentru a se referi în mod specific la comportamentul roiului la păsări, pentru a se referi la comportamentul roșu în patrulape, la șocuri sau la școală pentru a se referi la comportamentul roiului în pești. Fitoplanctonul se adună, de asemenea, în roiuri uriașe numite flori, deși aceste organisme sunt alge și nu sunt propulsate de sine în felul în care sunt animalele. Prin extensie, termenul roi se aplică și entităților inanimate care prezintă comportamente paralele, ca într-un roboți robotic, un roi de cutremur sau un roi de stele. Din punct de vedere mai abstract, comportamentul de roi este mișcarea colectivă a unui număr mare de entități autopropulsate.
