Un walkover sau W.O. este acordarea unei victorii unui concurent pentru că nu există alți concurenți sau pentru că ceilalți concurenți au fost descalificați sau au pierdut. Termenul se poate aplica în sport, dar se poate aplica și în alegeri. Aceasta este, de asemenea, menționată ca câștigătoare "implicit". Cuvântul este folosit în general, prin extensie, în special în politică, pentru un concurs în care câștigătorul, deși nu este singurul participant, are o competiție puțin sau deloc. Semnificația strictă și extinsă a cuvântului "walkover", ca un singur cuvânt, se găsesc în 1829.
