Trandafirul sau trandafirii sunt un fel de planta înfloritoare, adesea plantată ca un copac decorativ. Plantele cu flori încep să apară în perioada cretacică. Primul copac înflorit este angiospermul. Rosacea este una dintre plantele cu flori aparținând grupului Angiosperm. Mawar este unul dintre felurile de flori cunoscute de mult timp de comunitatea din Malay.
