Sultanul este un titlu islamic care are o semnificație istorică. Inițial, acest cuvânt a fost un substantiv abstract în limba arabă, care înseamnă "putere", "putere" sau "poziție guvernamentală". Mai târziu, aceste cuvinte sunt folosite ca conducători islamici care cer suveranitatea plină de suflet, fără alocarea califatului în ansamblu.
