Cabernet Sauvignon

The Cabernet Sauvignon is a red grape variety. The vine has gained so much importance and is so coveted that it is called a noble vine. It is home to the Bordelais, but from then on its triumphal procession has entered the whole world of viticulture. With around 200,000 hectares of vineyards worldwide, it is in seventh place, but it was overtaken by Merlot as the most widely used red quality varietal. Even outside its homeland, the variety retains its peculiar character and character, whereby the intensity of the characteristics can vary by the influence of soils or the climate. The Cabernet Sauvignon is characterized by the smell of black currants, accompanied by a smell of cedar, and the deep color of the wines. In addition, the wines always have a concentrated fruit flavor with a supporting framework of tannins and acids. The identification of grapes in the wine is made more difficult by the fact that the vine is scarcely varietal.
