Dust

Polvo

Powder is a generic name for solid particles with a diameter less than 500 micrometers and, more generally, fine matter. On Earth, the dust found in the Earth's atmosphere comes from several sources, for example: dust from the ground raised by the wind, volcanic eruptions, fires and pollution. The dust dispersed in the air is considered an aerosol and can have effects on the properties and behavior of the atmosphere against solar radiation and significant effects on the climate. The dust is responsible for lung disease, pneumoconiosis, which includes black lung disease, which occurs among coal miners. All these risks have led to the adoption of a number of laws regulating environmental conditions in workplaces.
