(a defăima, a discredita; a (se) uza, a (se) degrada), din sl. ponositi; ultimul sens, propriu în Mold., există și în sl.; ponoslu, s. n. (înv., Mold., dojană), prin intermediul mag. panaszol (Gáldi, Dict., 95); ponoslui, vb. (a mustra; înv., a defăima), din mag. panaszlani; donosi, vb.
